Chocolate Pretzel Delights!

These are SOOO easy to make just very tedious! So sit down at your coffee table with a trash can next to you and put on a movie!
As always, I’ve altered this recipe for Hershey Hugs and Reese’s versus the traditional Hershey kiss and M&M’s so feel free to use different things!
I make TONS of these and then throw them in a bag in the freezer to keep fresh, although they never last that long!

Ingredients: Serves 30

  • 2 (10 oz) bag Checkerboard or Windowpane Pretzels. Or purchase 1 big bag
  • 1 (~18 oz) bag M&M’s or Reese’s Pieces
  • 2 (13 oz) bag Hershey Hugs or Hershey Kisses

Steps:

  1. Preheat oven to 170F
  2. Place pretzels on wax-paper lined cookie sheet
  3. Unwrap Hugs, place one on each pretzel.. repeat..
  4. Place cookie sheet in oven. Hugs require 4 mins, Kisses require 5-6
  5. Immediately upon removing from oven place 1-2 Reese’s pieces or M&M’s on top of hugs.
  6. Place cookie sheet in freezer 10 mins to re-set chocolate

Notes:

Only use 1 type of Kiss per sheet because they have different baking times

MUST heat at 170 and NO higher or the chocolate will brown and get lumpy

Upon removal the kisses will still appear intact, but as soon as the Reese’s hits them they will melt down, so maybe test with your finger before taking them out of the oven.
