Broccoli Sausage Orecchiette


  • 1 LB Orecchiette pasta (pasta ears)
  • 2 LBs Broccoli, cut into bite sized pieces
  • 1 LB Venison Spicy Sausage or Italian Spicy Sausage
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 1 small onion
  • 1+ cup chicken broth
  • 3 Tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
  • 1 cup grated parmesan-asiago blend


  1. Bring a large pot of water to boil and add pasta.
  2. Heat Olive oil over medium heat and cook sausage, garlic and onions.
  3. Add broccoli, butter, chicken broth and cayenne.
  4. Bring to boil, covered, for 5 mins, on med. high then cook uncovered for 5 mins, reducing sauce.
  5. Drain pasta and pour into serving bowl.
  6. Add the broccoli sausage mix and cheese and continue to stir until it’s thick. Add more cheese if desired.
  7. YUM
