Couscous with Feta & Basil


My local grocery store makes this and it’s $6.99 a pound… I got sick of paying all that money and decided to just make it myself! It’s reallllllly easy and very fresh tasting for the summertime!

Couscous with Feta & Basil:


  • Box of couscous, your choice, I choose Olive Oil blend
  • Lemon juice
  • Feta (crumbled or chop it yourself)
  • Fresh Basil
  • Salt-n-pep
  • Parsley flakes


  1. Prepare couscous from directions on box. Let it cool down a little bit.
  2. Stir in some lemon juice to your desired taste. Add salt-n-pepper and parsley flakes.
  3. Chop up Basil and blend in as well as crumbled or cut up feta.
  4. YUM!

    That looks really good!
    I think I’ll add some red peppers, grated carrots and other veggies to it for a complete meal.

    Would you hate us if we swapped out mint for basil? 🙂 We love it with feta. Nice side dish.
